There are a ton of easy ways to make money on Fiverr. But, it can be overwhelming trying to come up with ideas when you’re desperate for a way to create an income right now.
To help you out, I've made this list of things you can do to make money on Fiverr with no skills. Some may require a small amount of training, but let's jump in. The great thing about these side hustles for Moms wanting to earn money online while staying home with the kids, or Dads wanting a little extra spending money, is that you can do them part time. Take on as little or as much as you want, and scale up your income as needed.
1. Social Media Manager
Did you know there is one blog for every seven people? That's a lot of blogs. But, what do all those bloggers have in common?
They need active social media profiles.
It's not just bloggers who need to create more buzz about their brand with social media; small business, big business, any business needs to update their social media profiles every day.
It's all about brand awareness, but the most important thing is;
They need people like you to help them with their social media accounts.
If you have created a social media profile for yourself (and I'm betting you have), then you are qualified to be a social media manager on Fiverr.
2. Pinterest Virtual Assistant
Pinterest is huge for mommy and home decor bloggers right now.
Thousands of mommy bloggers around the world are siphoning off huge chunks of traffic from Pinterest to their blogs and making good chunks of change out of it.
But, running a blog takes time, and they still have the kids to look after. In short, busy mommy bloggers need help with their pinning strategies.
Pinning is in such huge demand right now that an entire industry, called Pinterest Virtual Assistants, has sprung up around it.
You can help strung out mommies by taking over their pinning for them. Pinning isn't all about plonking pins down here, there, and everywhere. It does take some strategy to get it right, but it's fairly easy to learn.
There are a ton of courses around, and you can pay hundreds of dollars, but Carly Campbell makes her in-depth course available for less than the price of a fancy restaurant meal.
Carly started her blog back in 2016 (I think), and built it into a 6-figure business in less than 18-months. Now she teaches others to do the same in her Pinteresting Strategies course.
You could take her information and run with it on your own blog, but if you want immediate income it's a good primer on what mommy bloggers need you to do to promote their blogs on Pinterest, and a great Fiverr gig you can use to earn money fast.
3. SEO Auditor For Websites
Many business owners don't have a clue about SEO (Search Engine Optimization), but most know it's important.
They know that SEO will help bring in more customers, but they don't understand how to make it work for them.
You can step in and help these people by offering a Fiverr gig as an SEO site auditor.
You may think you don't know the first thing about how to do an SEO audit. Well, you don't have to, because there are tools you can use which will do it for you.
It might take a small investment at first, and a little training to understand how to use the tools properly.
Once you do, though, you'll look like an SEO whiz, and businesses will be coming to you as their go-to-SEO guru.
Ahrefs is one tool you can use, and it will tell you a lot about how you can improve a site's performance in the search engines.
Details Ahrefs provides in its reports include slow loading pages (a big issue for Google), incorrect HTML tags, broken links, and anything else which can break a site or slow it down.
SEMRush is another tool you can use to do an audit on a site. It doesn't just tell you about the problem; it also tells you what you need to do to fix it!
When using SEMRush you could add another service (fixing websites) and extra value to your gig to make even more money from Fiverr.
If you want to get started for free, you should check out ScreamingFrog's SEO Spider.
You can learn a lot about SEO from Screaming Frog because their site has a ton of online resources about SEO strategies.
4. Keyword Research
If you have even had a little exposure to the blogosphere, then you know about the value of keywords.
Proper use of keywords in articles and web copy is what brings in traffic, but it's a time-consuming job, and most businesses struggle to find time to do it.
They also don't have time to learn about all this internet stuff and wouldn't know what a profitable keyword looked like if somebody wrote in on a bat and hit them on the head with it.
There are more keyword tools than you can poke a bunch of sticks at, but my favorite is Neil Patel's Ubersuggest. It gives you a lot of the juicy details about a keyword, and it's free.
Ubersuggest will show you sites which are ranking for the keywords you are researching. And it also shows you how easy it will be for you to beat the competition.
It won't be long before you are keyword researching like a trained professional, and helping your clients get ranked with useful search phrases.
Ahrefs also has a feature for keyword research. It gives you a lot more detail, but you only get a 7-day trial. After that, you have to pay.
Start with free tools on a five dollar gig to make money on Fiverr, learn your trade, and then add value by upgrading to a more comprehensive paid tool once you have built-up a steady stream of paying clients .
5. Proofreading Service
If you fancy yourself as a bit of a wordsmith, you could make money on Fiverr as a proofreader.
There are online tools which can make your job easier. I'm writing this article in one right now.
It's called Grammarly, and it helps me iron out grammatical errors, crazy nonsense, and passive phrases.
Of course, you will need to have a solid understanding of the language, because no tool can replace human talent (at least not quite yet).
People will pay a lot to have their content proofread, and Grammarly offers a human proofreader service.
If you use their service and tack an extra five bucks on top of their fee, you can be a proofreader without doing any of the work.
Another free proofreading tool you can use to make a few bucks on Fiverr is the Hemingway app.
Hemingway highlights areas for improvement and grammatical errors. The app is also great at picking up weak adverbs, passive phrases, and hard to read sentences.
These are all areas where your changes will help to tighten up the prose to impress your clients. I usually write my stuff in Grammarly and then shift it over to the Hemingway app for further tightening of my prose.
6. Virtual Assistant Service
All over the world, entrepreneurs are struggling against the clock to get things done.
And, it's all the unskilled tasks which are eating into their time.
Things like answering emails, scheduling appointments, posting on social media, data entry, bookkeeping, and blogger outreach are all tasks with which you can help.
As you can see, you don't need a great deal of skill, and training is minimal, so why not look into becoming a virtual assistant. Who knows once you get a few regular clients under your belt, it may turn into a full-time career.
7. Photo Retouching Service
Every blog needs images so there is a huge demand for photo retouching services to improve the quality of photos, remove blemishes, or make them more useful.
Millions of e-commerce store owners need backgrounds removed from their product photos.
Background removal is something everyone can do with practice, but there are also tools which help with photo retouching as well.
Gimp is a free and powerful photo editing tool you can learn in a couple of days. Photoshop is also available for a modest monthly outlay if you want to stick with what the professionals use.
If you want to get started fast then check out Photoscissors. This handy online tool makes removing backgrounds fast and simple. Select the background colors you want removed, and the foreground colors you want to keep and let Photoscissors work its magic.
7. Social Media Video Creation Service
So, you're probably thinking you know nothing about video creation, and you may be right. But, there are now fast ways to get around that. Video creation software is huge right now, and many applications make it straightforward for even complete newbies to get in on the video craze.
Facebook, Pinterest, Twitter, and Instagram all have video capability, and the stats show that a short and sweet video increases engagement, by a lot.
Small business owners don't have time to sit down and create videos, let alone learn new a piece of software. That's where you come in. By creating short, promotional videos on Fiverr, you can rake in a few extra bucks or create a new career.
InVideo is an example of an online video creation software which makes it easy for beginners to create high-quality videos in a few minutes. You can read my extensive review of this awesome social media video creation software. Here's an example of a quick testimonial video I created in less than half-an-hour.
